Talland VET school visits Tartanga

Last week we had the pleasure to host one more year two teachers from Talland VET school @tallandcollege. While 4 of their students were together with our social work students at their work placements, the teachers visited our facilities. Our students enjoyed putting into practice their communication skills in English. Getting to know diferent working methods makes the learning experience richer!

Erasmus+ experience in Turkey

Thanks to the Erasmus+ KA1 project offered by Tartanga, two teachers from our school have had the opportunity to visit Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University in Turkey. It has been an incredible experience, as in addition to being a different country, they are also seeing how different cultures influence teaching. We hope to continue working together in the future.
Thank you once again to the @fatih.sultan_mehmet_officiall for giving us this opportunity.

Erasmus+ adventure starts!

Tartanga students are already abroad ready to start their internship for the following 3 months. They are spread out in different European countries: Italy, Finland, Czech Republic, Poland, Malta, Bulgary, Hungary.

“Mugidu, Ikasi, bizi” was the slogan of the kick off event organized in Durango by the Basque Government to gather all the participants before they left.

Teachers’ course in Denmark

Staff mobility is another action Erasmus+ programme promotes. Thanks to it two teachers from IT and Administrative areas visited Aalborg, north of Denmark, in October. They learnt about AI in vocational training, getting to know new tools that could be interesting to implement in their lessons and useful to prepare them. It was also a good opportuny to meet colleagues from different European countries and discuss methodolgies and good practices.

What will you find in this blog?

With this blog, we aim to raise awareness of the opportunities  that the Erasmus+ program offers and show all the experiences lived in our school thanks to it. To start, we share here a video we prepared for the Erasmus+ days, which captures our students’ adventures last year. They spent 3 months in different countries of Europe doing an internship in a company related to their area of studies but they also had time to have fun.
